Jimmy Carter Appears In Seattle At County Exec's Luncheon
Former president Jimmy Carter made a surprise appearance at Dow Constantine's annual filing week luncheon on Tuesday.

SEATTLE, WA - Former president Jimmy Carter made a surprise appearance at King County Executive Dow Constantine's annual filing week luncheon on Tuesday. According to reports from the luncheon, Carter was greeted with a standing ovation. He told the crowd that he's in Seattle to do some work with the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.

Constantine's annual luncheon is a fundraiser for his campaign, and was held this year at the Westin in downtown Seattle. Democratic National Committee Chair Tom Perez was also scheduled to attend the event.
