'Juneuary' Hits Puget Sound As Rain, Cold Temps Return
Wednesday was hot and sunny - Thursday will be the polar opposite. Emphasis on "polar."

SEATTLE, WA - Get your rain jackets out. Yes, we said "jackets." Not only is it going to rain for the next few days, but it's also going to be a little chilly.
Beginning Thursday, temperatures will struggle to get above 60 through the weekend, according to the National Weather Service. Rain is expected to begin overnight Thursday, which means a wet commute Thursday morning.
But, perhaps you're looking forward to a little rain. It's been drier than usual in the area over the last few weeks. In normal years, we'd have about 1.6 inches of rain by this time (dating back to May 17), but we're only at about 1.3 inches, according to University of Washington meteorologist Cliff Mass.
