Licton Springs Shooting Victim Identified
The 28-year-old was shot and killed Tuesday night. Police believe he was targeted by two shooters.
SEATTLE, WA — The man killed in a targeted shooting in North Seattle on Tuesday night has been identified by the King County Medical Examiner's office.
Seattle police believe John Dale III, 28, was targeted by two shooters. He was shot while walking along North 96th Street between Midvale and Aurora Avenue, according to police.
Seattle police conducted a ground and air search after the shooting, but did not locate the suspects.

Dale was the second person to be shot and killed near the intersection of Midvale and North 96th Street since late May. Steven Sande, 47, was shot inside his RV during an apparent drug robbery, according to court records. Two brothers, Adrien W. Diaz, 32, and William A. Diaz, 26, have been arrested and charged with murder in that case.
