The city plans to have lifeguards at these beaches through most of the summer. Chism, Clyde and Chesterfield Beach Parks will have lifeguards on duty through August 22. Enatai, Meydenbauer Bay and Newcastle Beaches will have lifeguards through labor day.
While the beaches are reopening, Bellevue officials say they expect everyone to continue following coronavirus safety guidelines. That means wearing face coverings as required by the governor's mandate, and keeping six feet away from others where possible.
