Man Set On Fire In Seattle's Fremont Neighborhood

Witnesses spotted the man on fire along Leary Way Tuesday night.

SEATTLE, WA - A man was set on fire in the Fremont neighborhood Tuesday night, and was reportedly in critical condition at Harborview Medical Center. The incident happened around 7 p.m. along Leary Way, according to Seattle police.

Severally witnesses called 911 to report the man on fire when he was seen along the 4500 block of Leary Way, which is in an industrial-commercial area between Fremont and Ballard. The victim was able to put the flames out before paramedics reached him.

Seattle police homicide detectives are looking for a male suspect and his girlfriend in connection with the assault.
