Man Shot, Killed On Capitol Hill Friday Night
The shooting happened just before midnight Friday near Broadway and Pike Street.

SEATTLE, WA - A man was shot and killed late Friday night in Seattle's Capitol Hill neighborhood. The shooting may have been related to a fight, according to police.
The shooting happened at approximately 11:50 p.m. near the intersection of Broadway and Pike Street. Police responded to the scene quickly, but the victim was dead at the scene.
Police did question one person in connection to the killing, but that person was not immediately identified as the killer.

This is the second homicide of 2019. Last Sunday, a man was killed by his brother in the Fremont neighborhood.
Officers are investigating a shooting at Broadway/Pike St. One victim reported, condition unknown at this time. Please avoid the area if possible. More information when it becomes available.
