What kind of news is that? In the history of humanity that’s been the uncelebrated role of many women. Women’s History Month 2018 honors women who persist in fighting discrimination against women in all forms. Let’s honor the women who seek to respect and gratify the sexual needs of their husband’s. How to do that? Such women privately go about their mission with no desire for an awards ceremony. However, we all benefit when sons and daughters embrace marriage as a necessary step to maturity.
Lovers stroll the sidewalks of downtown Seattle, as do families with young ones in strollers. But what about those who end up with their life’s savings loaded on a stroller, apparently cut off from the support of friends and family? Our society gives sex education in schools but lacks the moral training element to guide this part of human nature into healthy behavior which builds strong bonds of love within the family.
For ages religions have taught sex within marriage. Teaching sexual details devoid of morality has not produced a more peaceful society. When marriage licenses become more rare issues of sexual harassment mount. Does over sexualized advertising and clothing not send more young men into frustration? Does not women’s immodesty in public trigger more social unrest and the danger of rape? Serial rapists make headlines. Why not give some headline space to the women who unselfishly service the sexual needs of their husbands?

Like other religious women, Muslim women strive to do just that based on what the Creator of human nature advises. Cover your beauty from strangers, marry, let your husband support you financially, respect his sexual requests, and submit to having children or not having children, whatever Providence bestows. Above all be a garment for one another and enjoy the tenderness between husband and wife as a gift from The King of all humankind. These words sum up some themes presented as guidance for humanity in the Holy Qur’an.
This Women’s History Month 2018 I honor: Any married woman who consents to sex with her husband and they mutually enjoy it! Do you agree?
