SEATTLE, WA - Former Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch will sign a two-year deal with the Oakland Raiders, according to multiple reports. The contract will be signed as soon as Lynch undergoes a physical on Wednesday. Oakland and Seattle had to work out an agreement on a release of Lynch before the deal could move forward.
Lynch, 31, retired in 2015, and his return to the NFL has been intriguing for fans across the league. The deal is also beneficial for the Seahawks: the team will get Oakland's 2018 fifth-round draft pick, which moves Seattle up one slot in the late rounds.
