A Mild, Wet Week Ahead For Puget Sound: Forecast

It is mid-November. This week will be wet with temperatures in the mid-50s, according to forecasts.

SEATTLE, WA - It's mid-November, so don't expect much else but cool temperatures and wet weather. Luckily, this week will be mostly dry during the day, except Wednesday.

One big caution for the week: watch out for thick fog in some areas on Monday morning. Here's the full week-ahead forecast from the National Weather Service:

Monday: Areas of fog before 10am. Otherwise, mostly sunny, with a high near 53. Light and variable wind.

Monday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 39. Southeast wind 5 to 11 mph becoming south southwest after midnight.

Tuesday: A 10 percent chance of rain after 4pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 54. South wind 5 to 8 mph.

Tuesday Night: Rain likely, mainly after 10pm. Cloudy, with a low around 47. South southwest wind around 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.

Wednesday: Rain likely before 10am, then a chance of showers after 10am. Cloudy, with a high near 54. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New precipitation amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.

Wednesday Night: A 30 percent chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 47.

Thursday: Mostly cloudy, with a high near 53.

Thursday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 43.

Friday: Partly sunny, with a high near 52.

Friday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 42.
