Monday Voter Registration Deadline For Online And Mail
Oct. 25 is the last day to register or change details online and by mail before Election Day. In-person services continue until polls close.

WASHINGTON — With just eight days to go until Election Day arrives, Monday is the last chance for residents to complete or adjust their voter registrations using the internet or mail. New registrations are still possible in-person up until polls close at 8 p.m. on Nov. 2.
Hundreds of candidates are vying for local offices across all 39 Washington counties, and more than 4.8 million residents are already registered to vote, according to the Secretary of State's office. As of Friday, fewer than 8 percent of general election ballots had been returned across the state.
Elections officials recommend mailing ballots back by Oct. 29 to ensure an on-time postmark, but hundreds of drop boxes remain open 24/7 until 8 p.m. on Election Day.
To be eligible to vote in the 2021 General Election, each person must be:
- A citizen of the United States
- A legal resident of Washington state
- At least 18 years old by Election Day
- Not under the authority of the Department of Corrections
- Not disqualified from voting due to a court order
