1 Dead In Stabbing At Sodo Restaurant

A 27-year-old man died after a fight broke out around 3 a.m. Thursday.

SEATTLE, WA - A 27-year-old man died early Thursday morning after he was stabbed during a fight inside the Orient Express restaurant in Sodo, Seattle police are reporting. Medics were unable to save the victim and he died at the scene.

Police said a suspect fled north after the stabbing, but K9 units were not able to track him down. The fight happened just before 3 a.m.

Orient Express is an iconic Chinese food restaurant housed in a group of connected train cars. The restaurant is located along the 2900 block of 4th Avenue South near the corner of South Hanford Street.
