Pregnant Woman Killed In I-90 Crash

Three people were also injured in the wreck near North Bend and I-90 east has been closed.

NORTH BEND, WA - A 27-year-old Moses Lake woman was killed and three people were injured in a single-car crash on I-90 East Sunday night. Washington State Patrol said the 2005 Mitsubishi Galant left the roadway and went 20 feet down the embankment. KOMO News reported that the woman killed in the wreck was pregnant.

A 31-year-old Moses Lake man and two children were injured and transported to Harborview Medical Center. Police said the vehicle was traveling too fast for the conditions. There were numerous spin-outs and crashes due to winter weather.

I-90 east at milepost 34 was closed due to the conditions. WSDOT said there is no estimated time for when it will reopen.
