Protest Planned In Seattle To Protect Mueller Investigation
The protest is part of a number of nationwide demonstrations organized by the group MoveOn.

SEATTLE, WA - A series of protests to protect Robert Mueller's investigation of Russian interference in the 2016 election will take place across the U.S. Thursday. One is planned for Seattle's Cal Anderson Park at 5 p.m., and might potentially disrupt rush hour traffic.
The protests were organized after Donald Trump fired Attorney General Jeff Sessions on Wednesday. Protest organizers are worried that Sessions' replacement, Matthew Whitaker, will end the Mueller investigation.
"Before he joined the Trump administration, Whitaker was a frequent guest on cable news where he often criticized the Mueller investigation. He echoed Trump’s 'witch hunt' label and mused about cutting Mueller’s budget. Whitaker is in no position to oversee this important investigation and must immediately recuse himself and promise not to interfere with Mueller’s investigation," the protest organizers wrote in a press release.
