Puget Sound Thanksgiving Weather Will Be Windy, Rainy, Snowy
Thanksgiving 2018 will be a bust as far as weather. Expect heavy rain and wind near sea level, plus snow up in the mountains.

SEATTLE, WA - Good thing Thanksgiving is one of those indoor holidays. Weather around Puget Sound on Thursday will be unpleasant basically everywhere: wind and rain at sea level, plus snow in the mountain passes.
Here's what the official National Weather Service says for Thanksgiving day:
"Rain, mainly after 11am. Steady temperature around 47. South southeast wind 8 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible."

The rain will continue through the night, and wind gusts could get up to 25 MPH Thursday night.
There's also a winter storm watch in effect for the Cascades until Friday night - and that might hinder drivers headed to Pullman for the Apple Cup on Friday. According to the NWS, up to 14 inches of snow could fall at elevations above 3,000 feet. Up to 6 inches could fall at elevations slightly below 3,000 feet.
