Record-Breaking Puget Sound Heat: See The High Temps Near You

Sunday was the hottest July 15 on record at Sea-Tac Airport. But several other Puget Sound cities saw temps approaching 100.

SEATAC, WA - Just after 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, the National Weather Service thermometer at Sea-Tac Airport reached 93 degrees. That broke a 60-year-old record (92 degrees) to become the hottest recorded temperature at Sea-Tac since 1958.

But Sea-Tac wasn't even the hottest spot in Puget Sound on Sunday. Cities like Shelton and Olympia recorded heat approaching 100 degrees. Here are the highest and lowest recorded temperatures on Sunday from cities around the sound, according to the National Weather Service:
