Record Snowfall On Christmas Turns To Black Ice
After some scenic weather on Christmas day, expect black ice on the roads Tuesday morning.

SEATTLE, WA - Seattle had at least an inch of snow on both Christmas eve and Christmas day for the first time in over 120 years of records. The National Weather Service reported that SeaTac had accumulations of 1.6" Sunday and 1.0" Monday. The Christmas day total is a record amount of snowfall.
While the snow might look scenic from the comfort of your home, expect that driving conditions will be dangerous Tuesday morning. Snow and ice that has melted and refrozen has resulted in reports of black ice. Combined with freezing fog, expect create driving hazards throughout Western Washington.
It's advised to drive cautiously if you have anywhere to go Tuesday morning.
