Scorching Temperatures In Puget Sound This Week: Forecast

SEATTLE, WA - Father's Day's near-90 degree temperatures were just the beginning. We're going to inch ever closer to that mark before a welcome cool down at the end of the week.

Wednesday will likely be the hottest day of the week with a high of 87 or 88, depending where you are. On top of the heat, it's going to be either sunny or "mostly sunny" each day.

Here's the full forecast for the upcoming week from to the National Weather Service:

Monday: Sunny, with a high near 86. Calm wind becoming northwest around 5 mph in the afternoon.

Monday Night: Increasing clouds, with a low around 61. Light and variable wind becoming south 5 to 10 mph after midnight.

Tuesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 85. South southwest wind 5 to 9 mph.

Tuesday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 63. Northwest wind around 6 mph becoming calm.

Wednesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 87.

Wednesday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 62.

Thursday: Partly sunny, with a high near 78.

Thursday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 56.

Friday: Partly sunny, with a high near 72.

Friday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 54.
