Sea-Tac TSA Agent Tests Positive For Coronavirus
A TSA agent at Sea-Tac Airport has tested positive for the coronavirus.

SEATTLE, WA — A TSA agent working for Sea-Tac airport has tested positive for the coronavirus.
As the Seattle Times first reported, the agent last worked Saturday morning at the airport's checkpoint 5. Sea-Tac is aware of the test results and has closed the checkpoint in question for sanitation. Employees who worked with or near the TSA agent have also been alerted.
Sea-Tac says they're taking the virus seriously: all their TSA agents are required to wear gloves and have been offered surgical masks if they choose to wear them.

A dozen other airports have also had employees test positive for the coronavirus over the past two weeks. An updated list of all the airports with confirmed cases can be found here.
Meanwhile, Sea-Tac airport remains fully operational, through travelers are advised to check in advance for possible delays.
