Seahawks Quarterback Boykin Arrested After Car Crash At Dallas Bar: Report

The crash happened in Dallas early Monday morning, according to reports.

SEATTLE, WA - Seattle Seahawks backup quarterback Trevone Boykin was arrested early Monday morning in Dallas after a car he was riding in crashed into a bar, according to multiple reports.

The crash happened around 2 a.m. Monday in the Uptown section of Dallas. The car crashed through the front wall of the Sidebar Bar, according to FOX 4, injuring four people standing on the sidewalk, plus the bartender.

The driver, Shabrika Baley, 26, allegedly backed the car into the bar while driving under the influence, according to Fox 4. Boykin, 23, was arrested on suspicion of possession of drugs and public intoxication.

Boykin was the quarterback for Texas Christian University and was acquired by the Seahawks in 2016 as an undrafted free agent. Boykin is the main backup for Russell Wilson, and played in a game against the San Francisco 49ers last September; he scored a touchdown with a pass to Doug Baldwin after Wilson left the game with an injury.

Boykin was previously arrested after a brawl at a bar before playing in the 2015 Alamo Bowl his junior year at TCU.
