Seattle Area July 4 Forecast: Mind Your Fireworks
If you're lighting off fireworks, watch where they land. July 4 is going to be very dry in Puget Sound.
SEATTLE, WA — The good news is it's going to be clear, warm, and dry for the 2019 July 4 holiday. That's also kind of the bad news.
A clear July 4 means you'll be able to see fireworks, whether at your city's professional show, or the potentially illegal shows in your neighborhood. But it also means that the area will be primed for brush fires, which local officials have been on edge about amid a very dry spring.
The July 4 forecast shows highs in the upper 70s around Seattle, and only a 10 percent chance of rain. Even if that slim chance of rain pans out, definitely watch where you drop your sparklers this July 4 holiday.
