Seattle High School Ranked as Best in the Country
Summit Sierra Ranked In The Top 25 Washington High Schools For College Readiness by by U.S. News & World Report

Summit Sierra, located in Seattle, was recognized nationally by U.S. News & World Report among the best high schools in the country. Eligible for the first time this year, Summit Sierra ranked among the top 100 high schools in Washington (81st) and in the top 25 for college readiness.
U.S. News looked at over 24,000 schools in the country and ranked about 17,860 based on five indicators: college readiness, college curriculum breadth, math and reading proficiency, math and reading performance, and graduation rates.
Summit Public Schools, a public school system with schools in Washington and California, has made the U.S. News & World Report rankings every year since 2009. This year, all six of Summit’s eligible high schools made the list: Summit Sierra in Seattle, Summit Olympus in Tacoma, and Summit Prep, Everest, Tahoma, and Shasta in California.

All Summit students graduate prepared for college, and Summit alumni complete college at twice the national average. Summit Sierra graduated its first class of seniors in 2019.
