Seattle I-5 Closure: Seattle Public Schools Dispatching Buses Early
Seattle Public Schools is making preparations for possible delays related to the closure of I-5 in Seattle.

SEATTLE, WA - Seattle Public Schools is dispatching school buses early on Monday in preparation for possible delays related to the closure of I-5. The highway was closed Monday morning after a tanker hauling butane crashed in the southbound lanes south of I-90.
"Due to today’s closure of all lanes along I-5 near I-90, Seattle Public Schools is dispatching buses to schools earlier than normal this afternoon. Right now we are monitoring traffic congestion throughout the city," the district said in a statement on its website.
