Seattle Police Officer Arrested, Accused Of Domestic Violence

SPD confirms that an off-duty officer was arrested Sunday after she was accused of a domestic violence assault.

SEATTLE — The Seattle Police Department says one of their officers has been arrested following reports that the officer was involved in a domestic violence assault.

According to the police department, the officer was arrested in Snohomish County by the Snohomish County Sheriff's Office, who notified SPD of her arrest shortly afterwards.

SPD says the officer in question had been working with their department since January of last year and had been assigned to the Patrol Operations Bureau, but that her position will be reassigned until the current investigation is complete.
