Seattle 'Undie' Run Benefits Childhood Cancer Research
Participate in the brief run in your briefs to benefit the Children's Tumor Foundation.

SEATTLE, WA - The Seattle Cupid's Undie Run is just a brief run in your briefs.
The half-mile run kicks off Saturday in Seattle in the South Lake Union neighborhood, and there are still spots available. The course circles around Lake Union Park and the Museum of History and Industry. The course is easy enough for anyone of any physical level, and brief enough that you won't get too cold if you're only wearing briefs.
The Cupid's Undie Run costs $35 to enter, and all proceeds go to the Children's Tumor Foundation, which researches neurofibromatosis (NF), a type of cancer that affects nerves. The Seattle run is aiming to raise $40,000 for NF research.

The undie run isn't just about exercise. There will also be entertainment, an awards ceremony, and the chance to partake in an open bar. The event starts at noon on Saturday, and the run begins at 2 p.m.
"We encourage undies, but we get that it’s not for everyone – so whether you start a team for your friends, join a team or run solo, just come out, have a blast and raise some money for NF research!" the event's Facebook page says.
