Seattle Woman Found Dead After 2 Weeks Missing
Jacqueline Dupras, a community activist in West Seattle, was identified as the person found in Alki over the weekend.

SEATTLE, WA - A woman's body found at the bottom of a public staircase in West Seattle has been conformed to be Jacqueline Dupras, a community activist who had been missing for about two weeks. The King County Medical Examiner reported Monday that Dupras died from exposure.
Dupras was first reported missing on Sept. 17. Seattle police reported that she was suffering from dementia. Her body was found on Sept. 29 at the bottom of a public pathway near Southwest Spokane and 60th and 61st avenues southwest. The medical examiner reported that she likely died on Sept. 17.
Her husband told the West Seattle Blog that Dupras likely got confused and could not find her way home.
