Seattle Woman Shot In Head In South Park Neighborhood: Police
A group of men pulled up alongside the woman's car and began shooting at her late Wednesday night, police say.

SEATTLE, WA - Seattle police are reporting a frightening shooting that happened in the South Park neighborhood late Wednesday night. A group of men pulled up alongside the woman's car and began shooting at her. She was treated for her injuries at Harborview Medical Center, police say.
At around 11:35 p.m. Wednesday, police say, the 20-year-old woman was parked along the 1000 block of South Donovan Street in a usually quiet residential neighborhood tucked away near SR 99. A group of "three Hispanic males" pulled up alongside her in a gold sedan, got out, and opened fire, police reported. The woman was grazed as bullets entered her car through the windshield, but she is expected to recover.
After shooting at her, the men drove away. Police gang detectives are still investigating the shooting.

The South Park shooting comes on the heels of four gun murders this week around Puget Sound. Between 4:30 p.m. Tuesday and 12:30 a.m. Wednesday, three people were shot and killed in separate shootings in Seattle, Burien, and Federal Way.
In Renton on Monday night, a man was discovered shot dead in the stairway of an apartment complex. His body was discovered by a passerby several hours after the shooting, police say.
