Man Shoots Ex-Wife, Kills Himself In South Seattle

The shooting took place along Frontenac Street Saturday night, according to the Seattle fire department.

SEATTLE, WA - A woman was shot Saturday night in South Seattle by her estranged husband, Seattle police reported. The estranged husband then shot and killed himself, police said.

The shooting happened after 8 p.m. along the 5100 block of Frontenac Street. Police arrived to find the woman inside a home shot in the leg. The shooter was discovered dead inside the home by officers

The King County Sheriff's Guardian One helicopter was called to the scene, which usually happens when police need help searching for a suspect. The shooting happened near a home on a quiet residential street between Seward Park Avenue and Rainier Avenue South, according to 911 call records.
