Skip the Traffic & Feel Good About Ordering Your Groceries Online

Wolfgang Delivers offers grocery shopping & direct to door delivery services from any store. Serving Ballard, Freemont, Greenlake and more!

Going grocery shopping in Seattle means battling traffic and finding parking, not to mention wrangling any kiddos you may have in tow. Enter, grocery delivery. You’re probably thinking “How can I trust someone to buy my groceries for me? I pick the best fruit!” or maybe you’ve tried it before and had a bad experience. Personal Shopper Wolfgang Eastman started Wolfgang Delivers, a local grocery shopping and delivery business that is focused on building a relationship with the customer and customizes each and every order to meet your needs. Instead of wondering who is coming to your door after ordering with a big name delivery service, you get to work directly with Wolfgang and get a personalized experience with every order.

Born and raised in Seattle, Wolfgang lived in Tokyo after graduating from the University of Washington. Upon returning to Seattle he started his grocery career at PCC, where he found his passion for taking care of customers. However, he was destined to be on the other side of the register, choosing the best produce for his customers and building relationships one delivery at a time. Owning his own grocery shopping and delivery business allows Wolfgang to take more time with each customer, ensuring they have the best experience from start to finish, not just at the register.

When we asked Wolfgang about his favorite part of running his own grocery shopping and delivery business, it became clear that it’s all about the community:

“I get to serve my community while also creating communal bonds. People love their mailman, dog walkers, and babysitters. I want to foster that kind of relationship with my customers, especially for people who really value the importance of the connection of food and community.”

Having worked for a big name grocery delivery app in the past, Wolfgang found that he wasn't able to truly serve his customers: he was forced to rush through shopping, and treat them as a job, not a person. The last thing a customer wants is to go to the store themselves after their grocery drop-off was done badly or is missing items. By running his own business he can devote the time and attention to his customers the way he wants to. Wolfgang Delivers is powered by the dumpling app, which allows customers to connect with Wolfgang, choose any local store, and build their list through an in-app product search or by creating custom items. Customers are guaranteed top notch service from the moment they download the app, all the way through delivery. Wolfgang shared one of his favorite experiences he’s had with a customer:

“One of my customers, let's call her Carol, is an older lady with a vibrant personality and is quick as a whip. The first time I delivered to her, she was sure I was going to just drop everything off on her porch and speed off, due to a poor experience she had previously with another delivery service. When I offered to bring her groceries into her kitchen for her she was so surprised and happy. She invited me to have a cup of tea with her and we talked about our lives. She still calls me when she needs groceries, and I always make sure I have a little extra time for tea.”

Not everyone has time for tea, but that doesn’t mean that you’ll get any less personalization and care when you order your groceries with Wolfgang. Choosing to order from Wolfgang Delivers not only ensures that you reap the benefits of Wolfgang’s grocery shopping expertise, the ability to personalize your orders and price transparency (you get the receipt from the store), but you also get to enjoy the warm fuzzy feeling of knowing that you’re supporting a local, small business owner.
