Snow In Puget Sound? Chances Are 'Low'

SEATTLE, WA - A new forecast out Wednesday from the National Weather Service says that the Puget Sound region will see the coldest temperatures of the season beginning early next week.
But whether that brings us snow - the chances are still "low" for now.
The weather service says that temperatures will likely drop below freezing in lowland areas on Sunday night.

On Tuesday, the Weather Channel in a long-term forecast showed snow showers arriving Sunday and staying around until Monday. That organization has since changed its forecast to a snow-rain mix on Sunday night, and "occasional showers" on Monday.
But due to a La Nina in the Pacific Ocean, forecasters say that we could see snow in the region during this winter. That's because a La Nina tends to bring colder air to the region.
