Sound Transit CEO Accused Of Racism, Abusive Treatment In Report
"There persists among a number of agency personnel concern about the CEO's leadership style,"a report given to the board of directors says.

SEATTLE, WA – Sound Transit CEO Peter Rogoff will have to under a leadership development plan and improve his self-awareness and ability to build relationships. That was the the conclusion of the board, which voted 11-2 on Thursday to adopt the plan.
They were reacting a report investigating allegations that Rogoff was sexist, showed racial bias, and was hostile to employees.
One example cited in the report was an incident during Black History Month in 2016.

"The CEO reportedly made comments condescending toward persons of color insofar as he reportedly stated or implied that African Americans require more mentoring and assistance than their counterparts to succeed in a professional setting."
While Rogoff said that he just had a different way of doing things, the report made it clear, people don't think that's acceptable.

"There persists among a number of agency personnel concern about the CEO’s leadership style," according to the report.
The board declined to give Rogoff a performance bonus, which could have exceeded $31,000, but allowed him to keep his five percent cost of living increase.
