Space Needle Fireworks Return For New Year's Eve
The Seattle landmark will bring back its live fireworks show to ring in 2022 after canceling the annual celebration for two years in a row.

SEATTLE — The annual New Year's Eve fireworks show at the Space Needle will return for the first time in two years, after high winds canceled the show in 2019 and pandemic concerns prompted an elaborate virtual celebration in 2020.
Specifics on what this year's event will entail are still pending, according to the Space Needle website, but organizers promise the fireworks display will pack in new surprises to ring in 2022.
According to the Seattle Times, the official celebrations on Seattle Center grounds will include live music and a DJ spinning tunes with images projected onto the International Fountain.
