Spring Heat Wave Headed For Puget Sound
According to some forecasts, this is going to be the best weekend so far in 2019.
SEATTLE, WA — It's been sunny and warm in Puget Sound for a solid week now, but brace yourself — it's about to get a lot nicer. This upcoming weekend will feature highs in the low 70s in some spots, and plenty of sun, according to the National Weather Service.
In general, temperatures on Saturday and Sunday will be warmer in the Tacoma area, actually getting into the low 70s. In the Seattle-Bellevue area, we'll get close with a nice 69 degrees on Sunday.
Ready or not, the 70s are coming! And we ain’t talking disco balls. Highs will flirt with 70 degrees from Saturday thru next Tuesday. Best weekend of the year so far is coming up!

One downside to this nice, sunny weather: Puget Sound is well below normal amounts of rain for this time of year.
