SR 520 Bridge Closed This Weekend Over Lake Washington
State Route 520 will be closed in both directions again this weekend between Seattle and the Eastside, and work in the area will be noisy.

SEATTLE — The State Route 520 bridge will be closed through the weekend, allowing road crews to finish removing the old Montlake Boulevard overpass and a nearby offramp. The closure is slated to begin Friday night and will remain in place until Monday morning.
Both directions of the road will be closed between Seattle and Clyde Hill from late Friday until early Monday. According to the Washington State Department of Transportation, those living near the work zone — in Montlake, Madison Park, Portage Bay and Webster Point — should expect to hear noise around the clock.
