'Strange Odor' Closes Magnolia Bridge: Seattle Fire
Both directions of the Magnolia Bridge were closed Wednesday afternoon due to a strange odor.

SEATTLE, WA - A hazardous materials investigation closed both directions of the Magnolia Bridge in Seattle Wednesday afternoon. The incident was reported just after 1 p.m. Wednesday, according to the Seattle Department of Transportation, temporarily blocking the main way in and out of Magnolia.
Around 2 p.m., the bridge was reopened, and a Seattle fire spokesman said that the investigation turned up nothing but "typical household chemicals" under the bridge.
