The American Kennel Club has released a list of the most popular breeds in the Puget Sound area in 2016.

SEATTLE, WA - If you're a dog owner in the Seattle area, chances are you own one of these five breeds - unless of course you have a mutt.
The American Kennel Club released its annual list of the most popular breeds in the U.S. for 2016 on Tuesday, and the Labrador retriever came in at No. 1 again. It's also the No. 1 most popular breed in the Seattle area. Here's how our dog choices stack up against the country overall:
