We're in for a cooler, rainier weekend in Puget Sound, according to forecasts.

SEATTLE, WA - We're in for a nice cool-down this weekend in Puget Sound. But with that comes the possibility of a few scattered thunderstorms.
Friday will be sunny with a high of about 80. Saturday afternoon will bring a chance of thunderstorms across the region in the afternoon. Sunday will be cooler, but nice - but then the heat returns to the mid-80s by next week.
Just remember: when thunder roars, head indoors.

Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 80. Light and variable wind becoming southwest 8 to 13 mph in the afternoon.

Saturday: Showers likely, with thunderstorms also possible after noon. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 71. South southwest wind 11 to 16 mph, with gusts as high as 23 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
Saturday Night: A 40 percent chance of showers before midnight. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 58. South southwest wind 13 to 16 mph, with gusts as high as 23 mph.
Sunday: Partly sunny, with a high near 76.
Sunday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 59.
