Traffic Alert: Airport Way In Seattle Reopens After Crash

A car crashed into a utility pole Tuesday morning. Seattle City Light was on the scene making repairs.

SEATTLE, WA - A damaged telephone pole had closed a stretch of Airport Way in Seattle Tuesday morning, but the road reopened around 1 p.m.

Around 7 a.m., a car crashed into a telephone pole at approximately the midpoint of Boeing Field, according to SDOT. Seattle City Light crews were on scene making repairs, but that caused the closure of Airport Way between Othello and Norfolk streets - nearly a two mile stretch between Boeing Access Road and the main Boeing Field entrance.
