Trump Impeachment March In Downtown Seattle Sunday

The protest march and the ongoing Wooden Boat Festival might cause some traffic delays Sunday.

SEATTLE, WA - There are two events happening in downtown Seattle Sunday that might cause traffic delays. At 11 a.m., a group is holding a protest march to advocate for impeachment of Donald Trump. On top of that, the Wooden Boat Festival is happening all day at Lake Union.

Here's more on the traffic impacts from the Seattle Department of Transportation:

  • Lake Union Wooden Boat Festival at Lake Union Park. Event hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Monday. About 4,000 people a day are expected to attend.
  • Impeachment March – Seattle begins at 11 a.m. from Seattle Center to the Federal Building at 2nd Ave and Marion St via 2nd Ave. About 500 people are expected to attend
