SEATTLE, WA — The deadline to have your vote counted in the 2020 Primary Election is fast approaching: to count, your ballot will need to be mailed out and postmarked, or dropped in a ballot box by 8 p.m. Tuesday.

It'll be extra important to remember to get those votes, because as it stands many votes remain uncounted. As of the last report on Wednesday, just 988,306 have been received, or just about 21.4 percent of the state's eligible voters.

One reason for so much hesitation may just be the scope of this election. Each voter will have to consider dozens if not hundreds of candidates for both local and statewide elections, plus ballot measures and more.
