Uber Driver Who Crashed Into Seattle Gas Station May Have Failed Sobriety Tests: Report
The crash left one person dead, and partially destroyed a Ballard gas station.

SEATTLE, WA - An Uber driver who crashed into a gas station earlier this week allegedly failed parts of a field sobriety test, according to a new report.
Seattle police observed that the 59-year-old Uber driver's pupils were dilated, according to documents obtained by KIRO 7, and that he was unable to satisfactorily complete the walk-and-turn portion of the test. Seattle police obtained a search warrant for the driver's blood, but test results won't be back for weeks, according to KIRO.
Seattle police Det. Patrick Michaud told the TV station that the man - who is from Gig Harbor - may have failed the test due to injuries suffered in the accident, which is why police did not immediately have probable cause to arrest him.
