SEATTLE, WA — The Washington Department of Health released updated totals on confirmed coronavirus cases and deaths Wednesday night after two days of technical issues that prevented the release of up-to-date tallies.

The information released Wednesday accounts for all lab-confirmed COVID-19 cases in the state as of March 31 at 11:59 p.m. Some totals reported by the state differed from numbers released by local public health agencies earlier in the day, including in King County and Pierce County.

According to the department of health website, at least 52 deaths related to the virus were recorded between March 28 and March 31.
