Weather This Week Includes Rain - And More Rain

It's spring in the Pacific Northwest. So you shouldn't be expecting sun and warm temperatures.

SEATTLE, WA - Ready for a surprise? It's spring in the Pacific Northwest, and it's going to rain a lot this week.

The forecast for the first week of April is basically an incarnation of the "April showers bring May flowers" proverb. It's going to rain pretty much every day, but at least it won't be too cold.

Monday: A 20 percent chance of showers before 11am. Partly sunny, with a high near 50. Light south southeast wind becoming southwest 10 to 15 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 20 mph.

Monday Night: A 20 percent chance of showers after 11pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 38. West wind 10 to 15 mph becoming south after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 20 mph.

Tuesday: A 20 percent chance of rain after 11am. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 52. West southwest wind 3 to 7 mph.

Tuesday Night: Rain likely, mainly after 11pm. Cloudy, with a low around 41. West wind 5 to 9 mph becoming south in the evening. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.

Wednesday: Rain likely. Cloudy, with a high near 54. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.

Wednesday Night: Rain likely. Cloudy, with a low around 46. Chance of precipitation is 70%.

Thursday: Rain. Cloudy, with a high near 56.

Thursday Night: Rain likely. Cloudy, with a low around 48.

Friday: A chance of rain. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 59.

Friday Night: A chance of rain. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 46.
