Weekend Forecast For Puget Sound Is Looking Wet - Very Wet

SEATTLE, WA - The Puget Sound weekend forecast is deteriorating, rapidly. What was supposed to be a pretty nice, dry Saturday is getting rainier - and Sunday, don't even think about leaving home without a rain jacket.

We will, however, see some sun. Saturday morning through the early afternoon should be partly cloudy, according to the National Weather Service.

According to the Seattle Weather Blog, Puget Sound has only received a little over an inch of rain so far this October. The average is about 3-1/2 inches. So, look for Mother Nature to make up for a relatively dry October over the next few days.

Friday Night: A 40 percent chance of showers before 11pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 44. Light east wind.

Saturday: Partly sunny, with a high near 60. Calm wind.

Saturday Night: Rain. Low around 49. Light and variable wind becoming southeast 8 to 13 mph in the evening. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New precipitation amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.

Sunday: Showers likely. Cloudy, with a high near 56. South southwest wind 11 to 14 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.

Sunday Night: Showers likely. Cloudy, with a low around 45. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New precipitation amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
