'Widespread Haze' Coming For Puget Sound: Forecast

Like the villain in a horror movie, the wildfire smoke just keeps coming back to life.

SEATTLE, WA - According to the National Weather Service, there's a chance of unhealthy air pouring back into the region on Monday and Tuesday. That's because winds will shift to a northerly flow.

But, the NWS also says there "uncertainty" in the smoke forecast.

That northerly flow could suck smoky air down from fires burning in British Columbia. Your best bet is to check with the Puget Sound Clean Air Agency. PSCAA is predicting air will be unhealthy for sensitive groups (elderly, children, pregnant women) on Monday. But it's best to check with them before you head out on Monday for the latest air quality forecast.
