SEATTLE, WA — A group of about 100 local actors, writers, and directors will collude this week to perform a day-long marathon reading of the Mueller report — also known as the "Report on the Investigation Into Russian Interference in the 2016 Presidential Election."

The performers can't promise any new evidence will be unearthed. What they can promise: total exhilaration!

Starting at 8 p.m. Friday, performers in teams of two will take turns reading from the report. Each team will read for about 30 minutes over the course of 24 hours. That means the actors will have to get through about 19 pages per hour, including footnotes.

"All the readers are volunteers, all of them fabulous, most of them have been on stage within the last year, and many of them are in productions right now," said local actor and playwright Carl Sander, who is also a producer on the show.

Collusion jokes aside, the producers emphasize that this is a non-partisan event — it's for anyone who wants to know what's in the Mueller report, but want a more lively way to experience it.

One thing to keep in mind: some of the juiciest part of the Mueller investigation — the James Comey termination, possible obstruction, and the Trump Tower meeting — don't come until after page 100. So plan to stay (or arrive) into the early morning hours at least.

"Mueller Report Live" begins at 8 p.m. Friday at The Forum at Town Hall Seattle, 720 Seneca St. The event is free, and you can come and go as you please. The producers will be accepting donations to cover the cost of the event. Anything in excess of that will go to the ACLU of Washington.

You can learn more about the Mueller report reading at the Town Hall Seattle website. The event will also be live-streamed at that link.
