2 Early Morning Fires Hit Shoreline

One of the fires was reported as "suspicious," according to Shoreline fire.

SHORELINE, WA - Shoreline firefighters responded to two house fires early Friday morning, and one is considered "suspicious."

The first fire broke out around 5:17 a.m. Friday along the 14800 block of Wallingford Avenue North, which is just west of Twin Ponds Park. The house was "fully involved" when firefighters arrived, and an investigation into the suspicious nature of the fire is ongoing.

The second fire hit a home along the 100 block of Northwest 185th Street in the Richmond Village area at around 5:44 a.m. One person was home at the time of the fire and was evaluated at the scene for injuries. The cause of that fire is also under investigation.
