49 Shoreline Residents Apply For Jesse Salomon's Council Seat
Salomon will leave the Council on Jan. 8 to serve as the 32nd Legislative District State Senator.
SHORELINE, WA - A lot of Shoreline residents want to serve on City Council. The city received 49 applications to replace Deputy Mayor Jesse Salomon, who will leave Council on Jan. 8 to serve as the 32nd Legislative District State Senator.
The deadline to apply was Jan. 3. The Council will meet Monday to pare down the list of applicants, selecting a few for interviews. The Council will pick Salomon's replacement at the Jan. 28 meeting. That person will serve until the November general election.
