LFP City Employee Showcases Spooktacular House
A colleague of Anita Goddard gave us a news tip about a wonderful Halloween front yard in Kenmore, Wash. Please enjoy the pictures of Chateau Spooky by Anita and Frank Goddard.
Frankenstein, the movie, played in black and white on a silver screen as fog machines created an eerie presence of ghosts and goblins in the front yard of Frank and Anita Goddard's home in Kenmore.
Anita Goddard is a an employee of The City of Lake Forest Park, Wash. She and her husband Frank put in many hours before the final product that you see in these pictures. Anita spent three to four hours each day after work from Oct. 1 through 24 to highlight the spiders, skeletons and witches that will greet trick-or-treaters tonight.
Anita and her younger sister (affectionately referred to as "Termite") have been designing and building haunted gardens and spooky houses since they were children. The sisters' love affair with Halloween started when Anita was about nine years old. She and Termite were raised near Santa Barbara, Calif. as they delighted friends and family with creepy creatures and more expansive expressions of fright-night art.
