• Bus route changes, improvements for University of Washington, college campus connections (kingcountymetro.blog) — Shoreline riders get several major transit upgrades, including new Route 72 and revised Sound Transit 522 service feeding the Shoreline South/148th light rail station, plus an extended Route 331 to Shoreline Community College. These changes, timed with UW's fall quarter, are designed to make trips between Shoreline, the UW campuses, and the broader Eastside and South King County faster and more frequent.
   

• Textile Extravaganza at Salvation Saturday, Sept 26, 2026 (shorelineareanews.com) — A hands-on Textile Extravaganza is coming to Salvation on 15th Ave NE in Shoreline this Saturday, offering piles of fabrics, trims, and a DIY patch bar. • Edmonds Underwater: Muck diving (mymltnews.com) — A longtime diver who once taught at Shoreline Community College shares a richly detailed tour of muck diving in Edmonds Underwater Park, from tiny shrimp and octopus to curious harbor seals. His story connects local marine life, park cleanup efforts, and decades of volunteer stewardship that benefit shoreline communities all along north Puget Sound.
