• Indoor kite flying (shorelineareanews.com) — Indoor kite flying sessions are now offered every Tuesday from noon to 3 p.m. at Shoreline's Spartan Gym, giving residents a fun, low-impact way to stay active indoors. Open to ages 12 to 90, the drop-in sessions cost $3 to $5 depending on age and residency, and require only basic mobility to participate.
   

• Tool Sale to be repeated December 5, 2026 in Lake City (shorelineareanews.com) — Shoreline residents who love DIY projects can look forward to the Shoreline Tool Library's next big "All Offers Accepted" Tool Sale on Saturday, December 5, 2026, at Reuse Commons in Lake City. Proceeds support tool libraries in NE Seattle and Shoreline, helping keep thousands of tools and salvaged goods in community use and out of landfills.
